1 student (undergraduate/diploma) for each entry. Each university may submit a maximum of 10 entries.

Objectives :

  • Practice public speaking in a fun, digital way
  • Improve your English pronunciation and fluency
  • Unleash your creativity
  • Inspire climate action through ideas

Description :

Create a digital avatar and deliver a speech about an innovation that helps or harms the planet. Your voice + your creativity = an awesome learning experience!

Duration of the video :

1-2 minutes

What You Need to Do:

1. Create Your Avatar

  • You may use other apps of your choice

2. Choose a Topic

  • Talk about how technology or innovation affects the world. Here are some examples:
    • Electric Cars: A Climate Hero or Villain?!
    • How Can AI Support a Greener Future
    • Plastic Alternatives: Innovation or Illusion?
    • Smart Homes: Saving Energy or Wasting More?

 3. Write & Record Your Speech

  • Length: 1–2 minutes
  • Some of the platforms may convert your voice (that is permissible)
  • Make it clear, confident, and meaningful
  • You are not allowed to use Text-to-Speech (TTS) technology (which converts written text into spoken output)

4. Make Your Video

  • Sync your voice to the avatar
  • Make it visually creative
  • Export as video file

How to submit: 

  1. Export it as a video file, upload the video to YouTube and set the visibility to Unlisted.
  2. Submit the YouTube link, draft and participant’s details via Google Form.

Submission Deadline: Wednesday, 19 November 2025, 11:59 p.m.

How You'll Be Judged:

Criteria What it means
Clarity & Delivery Good pronunciation, smooth, confidence
Vocabulary & Grammar Appropriate and varied vocabulary, mostly accurate grammar
Creativity & Design Original and engaging ideas, thoughtful layout, effective use of visuals, colour and space
Content Quality Speech is original, clear and thought-provoking
